Open Source the Twine Server

It appears that new features and other changes to the Twine are very slow in coming. Yes, we got a battery life update four months ago, but I'm seeing a lot of dissent here.

Some of my problems have been things such as the Twine server not sending out my messages -- especially if I'm generating a lot of them, which is when I most need to see the messages. Hosting my own server seems like a solution to that.

Can we get the source for the twine server daemon, and a way to train the twine to use that one (is there a .hosts file we can tweak?)?

What I'd really like are some smarter rules, e.g. "Did the elapsed time since the previous trigger increase or decrease significantly?"

My Twine has been gathering dust for quite some time. Mostly because the available ruleset on the server isn't robust enough to do what I need it to do. It seems that Supermechanical is focusing effort on their thermometer rather than Twine.

If people could extend the abilities of Twine on these devices would be much more useful than they are today.

This is my complaint and twine tech support is unable to resolve I am not getting my text messages as I used to. If this was a critical situation I would be in serious trouble. Twine has turned into a toy instead of a viable sensor.
