Is there any way to check what version of the firmware the device is using? Will it automatically update its firmware or this there some way I can force it.
Hover over the name of your Twine on your 'control' page on the web. The popup will apparently show either Oct or Dec. I'm awaiting an update from Oct to Dec.
Waiting doesnt help. You have to email supermechanical and they will confirm that someone named David will send/push/whatever the firmware to your twine. Then nothing happens until you email them again and again. i hope so. Im still waiting ...
Twine runs on two types of firmware. One updates when you save rules (your Twine is up to date on this one). The other, we updated as needed, if your Twine is working fine, it doesn't need it.
Below that on the left side, in the lightly shaded box where the temp and orientation are - you should have a name for your Twine device, mouse over that name.
Geez I AM out of it.... I see the Temp, orientation, and today Vibration, battery health etc but I do not see a 'name" or anything. Could it be the browser i use? (Firefox) I wish I could post a screen shot somehow. I can't remember giving it a 'name'....
