Support for Hidden SSID
I keep all home access points hidden for security. I really need this Twine to support hidden SSIDs.
I tried broadcasting one, got the Twine all hooked up, then hid it again and the Twine lost connection.
It's got all the information (SSID, security, channel, passphrase) so why can't it connect?
There's even a manual setup GUI that makes it look like it will connect to hidden networks.

I do not want to expose my SSID. Had I known this would be an issue at the time I wouldn't have joined the Kickstarter.
Why should it matter if a user prefers to hide their SSID? What WIFI device today DOESN'T handle hidden SSIDs? Even my EyeFi cards do it seamlessly. I've never owned a product that forced me to redo my network to accommodate it. I'm really surprised and disappointed this was not made clear earlier in the kickstarter process.

Provided you are using WPA or WPA2 with a decent password, your network should be secure. Hiding the SSID doesn't really do anything security-wise (other than keep newbs from finding your network name).
Freeware like network sniffer (windows) or wifi analysier (on android) will find your SSID straightaway even when hidden. There are similar apps on iphone which will do it.
