Interestingly they *still* show "external Temperature" as a sensor for twine on their website...

Plug in additional external sensors and they pop up on the web app, ready to use.

They removed analog info from the store website and lowered the price but they are not offering refunds to those who purchased the breakout boards when analog support was promised.
"We aren't going to be adding analog support for Twine. We'd love to do
so, but we’re a small team with limited time and resources so we have to
pick and choose what to develop."

They have no interest in supporting Twine. All of their focus went to the new products, leaving all of us original purchasers in the cold. It's now been over a year since 2.0.2 was released, with all other promised features still MIA.
They built a whole new product and instead of honoring their promises for the use cases of the original one, they are protecting sales of their new product by keeping the original unit crippled.
They have no intentions of ever making analog support. I've been told this repeatedly now by the twine folks, who unapologetically say 'too bad' when told that it was in the original kickstarter definition *and* in their store's description for the …
Interesting response. The certificate that was issued previously has not been revoked and the current cert in use by the top level site was issued on 5/26/2013 and expires on 5/30/2014 but hasn't yet been swapped.
So, another quarter goes by, another product selling like mad, any thought to fulfilling the promises of the original product? Or no analog support because then we wouldn't buy the range?
Bump as well as one reason I originally wanted the unit was for analog value measurement. I can build the circuits I need, but if the unit is never going to give them to me, it doesn't help
If you want to use the breakout board you can use any commercial available reed switch door status magnet (ie, from any access control/security system) as they're just Normally Open or Normally Closed circuits that the magnet either closes or opens …
It's very likely going to be something specific to Apple's radio implementation and might be tough to troubleshoot. While a lot of us (myself included, BTW) use airport extremes and expresses (I have both), he # of Apple airports is much smaller tha…
The battery notice has been in several firmwares back; the unit will tell you when they drop into a voltage range indicating they have a reasonable period of life remaining. If you're in 'slow' update mode, they'll last a week or more after that. If…
Did this just start getting added to 'later' twines? I had to get mine from my network; my twine (I was a kickstarter backer) has nothing on the case (and it's been sitting at my bench/desk since I received it, so it wouldn't have lost a sticker thr…
Had to move the twine, taking it off wall power, for the first time since 1.2 update and playing w/ vibration sensing. Went ahead & put new batteries in it while it was totally off. Now it can't find the network. Also, it will go into solid ligh…
Vibration sensing is now active; repush your rules, folks Great example at http://t.co/qitTkmyi (but really, the MAGNET should have been on the lid (moving part) to prevent ping/strain on the cable which you see running across the lid *cough/pedant…
