You can make a rule to send an email to a service like TwitterMail (
http://twittercounter.com/pages/twittermail/
) or use the famous IFTTT.com if it suits you

How do I use IFTTT for this?
In IFTTT I cannot set the from-email being my Twine email (twine+000...
@supermechanical
.net) because I cannot activate that address as one of my channels.
Anyone?

Yes I wanted to use IFTTT too but the 'from' email address is the sticking point.
If I could make a feature request please SuperMechanical can we have configurable 'from' email addresses?
For security please have an authentication mechanism same is IFTTT.
many thanks
