The attitude sensors can be used to monitor sleep activity and sleep position. Using a simple elastic garment and locating the Twine at the center of the lower chest (sternum) would create an interesting set of results given the proper set of rules.
This is a cool idea. It would help to know if the reason I don't sleep well also corresponds with whether I'm tossing and turning a lot while sleeping.
This was actually going to be my first target application, with the addition of temperature as I also notice signs of body temp swing when I sleep. Has anyone developed a method for collecting this data with useful frequency?
Instead of strapping the Twine to your body (which does not sound comfortable) how about just placing it on the bed and having it sense movement via the vibration sensor?

Here is a version I did using the script and Thingspeak.com to store the data/trigger events.
