Placing the twine in a position then have it notify if it changes at all. After all, who wants to have the notification change because they placed it on the wrong side when all they want is that it has changed position.

Yes, this means that I will get 4 notifications on a full rotation.

Yes. I think an option for "ANY" orientation change is needed. The reset option can ignore any repeat changes for a specific amount of time.

Well, maybe the reset option would be "in orientation for longer than [insert duration] at power on"

You just add 6 separate rules to notify you if it's orientation changes to top, bottom, front, back, left or right sides.

Jeff has what works right now, but a little more flexibility in the rules programming would help. After all, this is supposed to be usable by grandma!
