Same here. A status message periodically would be important to know Twine is connected and doing its job. I use it to monitor a boat, while I'm not there. No news might mean the wireless is down rather than all is good. I can log in to check the status, but a periodic message would be valuable
I tried Peters ideal also but with no good result. Thanks for the input. Very frustrating device so far, sends emails only sporadically, goes to sleep for variable lengths of time. Definitely a work in progress, I hope.
Rik - yo umay find issues with using Celsius scale, seems to not want to play, switching back to Fahrenheit gives me intermittent reports via email, but I think I've seen elsewhere that Twine are working on a fix for Celsius. I'm trying to work out if having a temp change report is (and it not working) is what was stopping my orientation reports which seemed to be OK to suddenly stop as well
Hi all, sorry to bring back such an old topic... BUT... is it me or the last change in twine pretty much broke this?
I tried it and I only got the first report... The problem seems to be with the "untriggering" logic... Since the temperature never falls below 0, it never untriggers so it never re-triggers either... I think they changed from a "reset after xxx seconds" logic to a "reset after threshold is unhold" logic...
So...
Is there a potential workaround for this? I would really like to have an easy way to get an hourly-report of temperature, not just when it goes through a threshold...

"Next go make a new Temperature rule that triggers when the Temp rises above 0 degrees, triggers after 0 seconds, and resets after 60 seconds (if you want an update every 60 seconds)."

Let me know if this works!
