Does the USB port work for data?

Can I speak to the Twine over USB? Does the Twine support being a USB Host?
I'm a linux hacker looking to hack, and write drivers if needed!

Nope, Twine does not speak USB. It's only for power. Twine runs our own custom blend; Linux is way too heavy. But we hope to have some fun stuff for you to dig into next year...

Looks like serial wire debug or JTAG, neither of which I know, but those are what the microcontroller, STM32F100C8 supports. :P

How do you debug Twine? You guys use special tools which works with USB? Any idea on opening up that for community?
Hackers would want to do lot more?
