Celcius instead of Fahrenheit would be welcome!

Yes, that does change it on the dashboard, but it still does Fahrenheit as replace [temperature] variabel in the rules-section.

Reporting temperatures as Celsius in rule variables will be coming in the next update!

Still wondering if it possible to have Celsius in a http request... Any updates?

It is possible, you may need to switch the temperature on your dashboard out of Celsius and then back to Celsius to get it to work.
