  That's a very clever application, especially since it benefits multiple people. Don't forget to notify everyone when the door closes again.

  I've been thinking how to do that and haven't come to a good conclusion... Any suggestions on how to build that rule would be great... Right now the rule is if open for 30 seconds notify... I don't know how to make a and when rule.... I am only seeing the option for an and rule.

  I guess you're right, unless you want a notification every time the door closes.

  I'd make the logic happen server-side w/a webhook.
  
  So the logic is:
  
  Door open for more than 30 seconds, hit a url.
  Door closed, hit a URL
  
  Webhook stores the data, and does the necessary logic. Only sends an alert when it's a close after the 30 seconds.
  
  And of course, you should make it a single serving site at the domain: isthecleaningladyinthemensroom.com and it should just say with big letters "YES" or "NO"

  The devs at work did just that. There are now windows and Mac task bar apps up and running along with history... When the bathroom was last cleaned.
