Twine in the fridge ?

One of my first tests was to measure the temperature in my fridge. The fridge is approximately 6 feet (less than 2m) from my router.

But it doesn't seem strong enough to get the signal out. Have other people had similar issues ?

I think you mean Faraday Cage...I'd like a Dyson Sphere in my house, but I don't think it's big enough 8^)

Most devices are going to have a hard time with a fridge - it's the best Dyson Sphere you have in your house - you would need something with a lot of gain, or a signal path out of the fridge (like an antenna fished out somewhere).

Yeah - I got my sci-fi terms backwards. I kept seeing the Enterprise-D flying into it when I typed "Dyson Sphere", but heck, I was tired!
